"Luckyslip" fingerless mitt 100% crocheted of Bosnian slip stitch and ribbing.

Detail of my latest type of tiny bobble stitch for slip stitch fabric.

Yarn: ShiBui Merino Alpaca. Twenty plies so densely z-twisted that it seems almost like fine Pima cotton rope. First-rate quality; feels cool, sumptuously sleek, calm, and modern.

"Luckyslip" fingerless mitt 100% crocheted of Bosnian slip stitch and ribbing.

Detail of test of a smocking stitch.

Yarn: Cascade Yarns Cloud. Texture of the hollow chainette tube is sort of ridged and squared off; it's luxuriously soft, stretchy, and bouncy.

This beautiful hand crochets beanie-PATTERN made by

my using acrylic yarn with pretty stitching all around.

SIZE: Directions are given head sizes over 18"-20".

All of them in single crochet ribbing, some with sequined carry along threads.

A set I just completed at the end of Feb. 2013 and I've already worn it often because the colors work well with jeans and the colors I tend to wear.

I love the luster and drape and am watching to see how this thread holds up to wear.

I used a high-gloss, high-twist, many-plied vintage rayon thread. I'd love to test it side by side with a comparable pure silk. (See my Crochet Inspirations newsletter issue #47 for more on this). The necklace and bracelet (from "Sweet Almonds Jewelry Set") are shown here linked up and wrapped.

This is a new design for my upcoming Slip Stitch Crochet class to illustrate the relationship between two kinds of slip stitch ribbings. Stretchy and fun to play with, it has a fascinating, beautiful texture. Also, a flattering frame for the face.

The center strip took 3 hours of a road trip so it comes along quickly. Surprisingly, the ruffled parts work up as fast or faster.

Strangely addictive to crochet.

Beach Cover Up/Poncho:

Point-to-Point Tunisian Filet with Twisted Bead Drops.

A convertible layer edged as you go with “water droplets” (beaded twisted loops that require no pre-stringing). Yarn: DesigningVashti Lotus, 100g Crystal Blue color with small accent amounts of Teal Glimmer and Bamboo Green.

This is Tunisian filet crochet trimmed with moss stitch that can be seamed (by lacing) different ways for a convertible poncho, vest/tunic, shawl. The accent band can be worn in the front and back for a v-neck or at the shoulders for a bateau head opening.

These are the same Bling Bam Bangles as the crochet pattern I just released but I used more sequined strands (and therefore a slightly larger crochet hook).

It's easier to tell the difference in person. (A lot of the bling doesn't really show up in photos.)
