I believe this one is a male Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis)...on a mostly-dead lemon tree.

I am not at all sure she is a raccoon at all. She eats exactly as much as she is supposed to, stops, plays for a while, then puts herself to bed. Weird.
