Grizzly Adams and one of his critter friends gather wood in the hills of West Clampet County.

With social distancing in mind and trying not to be out and about any more than is needed, a recent quote came to mind….

“There's almost an inexhaustible supply of

subjects right around my back door, meager as it is.”

Gorgeous day for being in the garden. Rob painted a fence and mowed the lawns. The children bounced on the trampoline, played egg and spoon races and tried to master swingball. I groaned under the weight of a hangover from yesterday's all-day birthday celebrations.

These are two little critters we found. The spider was quite a size and Emma picked it up, put it under my nose and declared, 'Look at my new friend, Mummy. His name is Colin.' In the picture he is sitting on Emma's hand. The bee was quite probably the largest bee I have ever seen too.

Crafty critter.

for odc2 - critter

My fav critter!

With Skip, what you see is what you get, he is not a complicated dog!

I was out browsing for some new house plants and came across these critters. Looks like mostly rock owls. These might look quite nice in an outdoor garden.

Our temporary guest, Fuku the shiba inu. Energetic but lovable.

The mat where Fuku is lying exists no more as this critter decided to bite and piss it to the death

Captured with Mir-24, 35mm soviet lens

Where did it come from?

Found in north Norfolk.

If you look out the window at the right time - you just may see a critter walking through the backyard. This is what I saw this morning - so I grabbed my camera - opened the window - and shot this moose before he headed out of sight. It's good to see them on the move again after such a bitter cold winter.

A critter at the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie, WA. It is a Whitcomb 12-DM-38 originally built as 3-foot gauge for Bechtel and rebuilt as standard gauge by the Southern Pacific for work at the Oakland docks. It now sits in the green space next to the Museum's depot. The critter was recycled to playground equipment. Local kids and kids of parents visiting the Museum play on it all the time. In 2011 it badly needed painting.

Forgive my camera, for she is old and sometimes picky about which things to focus on.

TK-4 grabs as many pill-critters as he can carry.

TK-26 is more particular about it, and after inspecting them closely he chooses a yellow one.

Been a little distracted by life at the moment......I think normal is gone but at least Critter and Bella stay the same.

For a fundraising event going on all month at the shop to benefit the Rescue Ink (I think it's a tv show about tattooer dudes helping dogs) shelter which was flooded by Hurricane Sandy.

Critter was a wonderful helper today--here he is getting ready to take a coffee break.

Backyard Critters February 2023

Iowa Pacific's passenger special zips past the Zenda Critter on the Wisconsin and Southern's Fox Lake Subdivision.

Cute critters ‘hello’ card I made using Lawn Fawn's ‘Gleeful Gardens’ stamp set. I used Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass distress ink in the background and cut the circle and rectangle stitched background using Simon Says Stamp die sets. I coloured the cute critters in with copics and finished up the card with a ‘hello’ sentiment from the ‘For The Record’ stamp set from Simon says stamp embossed onto some black SSS cardstock. The black banner was cut using the “Sketchy Banner Greetings “die set also from Simon (it was too large so I cut off part of the right side).

A sad looking doggie at the station in Surat Thani.

Once the Burro felt that they were a safe distance from me they continued on their way, occasionally stopping for a quick bite. As this one returned up from taking a nibble something caught it's attention in the bushes below. My best guess would be rustling noises caused by a lizard nearby.

The St. Louis, Iron Mountain & Southern Railway runs over 6 miles of the original StLIM&S, built in 1856 as an ore-hauling road to connect Iron Mountain, Missouri, to St. Louis; the route became part of Missouri Pacific in 1917. Primary motive power is former Pennsylvania E8A 5958, which was initially preserved by the Blue Mountain & Reading (Reading & Northern). In the 198s and 1990s the railroad operated steam excursions with former Crab Orchard & Egyptian 2-4-2 5, which is now stored.

"Coming to a theater near you. "The Critter", a madman stalks the wilds in search of prey... and you are in season."

I totally got sidetracked with this and turned it into a movie poster out of sheer amusement. About to put it up on the shelves now, hope people like!
