Photographed in Arches National Park in Utah, USA. This park has a large number of weathered rock formations and many stone arches. In a spectacular and beautiful desert setting.
A quite moment inside. I love the ear hair :)
I can not believe Christmas is less than a week away....I have done zero shopping and am so unprepared.....

My camera is fine, it was the memory card that was bad. Whew. Sooner or later I will need a new camera but later is better than sooner.
I hung this shelf today. My dad brought it to me last time he visited, it's from my grandmother who died in 2003. The wood is kind of warpy so it looks like it's hanging crooked no matter what I do, but -- it's from my grandmother, and I don't have many things from her. My daughter had it in her room but after we painted she didn't hang it back up.
I need to play with the placement of the critters. I decided to move them because my little boy could reach them and I didn't want him making off with any of them.
Over the last two weeks both Cinta and Critter have been sick.
I noticed Critter being lame on both his front feet and he didn't want to walk, then Cinta seemed to have lost half her body weight overnight and was not moving much either.
Last Friday Critter couldn't even hold himself up to wee, it seemed his back legs had gone on him so I took both him and Cinta to the vet.
Wouldn't you know it, the moment Critter gets to the vets he bounces out of his cage rubs himself on the vet and appears perfectly healthy, so healthy in fact the vet didn't charge me for the consultation on Critter as he thought it quite hilarious. I on the other hand was so embarrassed and felt like a complete idiot.
He said Critter probably has some tick toxin in his body. As for Cinta well, I got blood test done and all appeared normal.
Home we go but Critter was not getting better and I did not think it was tick and wanted a second opinion. I started thinking I may of got a dud batch of flea treatment as it seemed a coincidence that both cats were ill at the same time.
Seeing Cinta was getting better and Critter was not improving, I took Critter to another vet who seems to think it possibly was a coincidence they were both sick and Critter has probably hurt himself as he felt down his back and Critter nearly jumped through the roof.
To be on the safe side I also got some blood test done on him just in case it was something else. He was given an anti-inflammatory injection and I would say after 2 weeks he is now back to his old self, still a bit stiff but improved.
As for Cinta well....me thinks my old girl is just getting old.
Critter gets on with everyone and everyone loves the Critter :)
He will often wait for the dogs to come running towards him and leap up into the air to spook them.

Thanks!
This is my first attempt at using a back light, and also trying to give the shot a more interesting dynamic look. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, but hopefully I can refine my use of the technique more.

Hugs to you all!!
This is especially for a Redneck Fisherman from Texas and his very patient and tolerant wife. You'll be seeing plenty of these wild animals and they love to steal your "shades" while you're at dinner. Don't worry - you'll find them sitting proudly on your bed wearing them when you return to your cabin. They used to put chocolates on the bed too but I think the critters learned what they were and started eating them before we got back to our stateroom. I take my own now and lock them in the safe.
More fun critters in our back yard. They arrived a couple months ago and set up housekeeping under our back porch. There are 4 of them but one kept wandering off. They have no fear of people so you can get as close as you want.
