The walk in the woods,the dry fallen leaves lie on the floor and crunch beneath your feet.

A slight bit underexposed, but I kind of like the way the tones came out.

I find the dry leaves to be almost sculptural as they glow in the sunlight. The bright colors are now fading, drying in the strong autumn winds!

The transition of seasons is progressing as the days now get shorter, and the bright colors are a fading memory! Sigh . . .

All the oaks were a warm brown color last week, especially in the late afternoon sunshine. It was great while it lasted!

I love it when steam is coming off the water in the morning, but it can be difficult to capture. There is often a heron perched on a log in this area. Not this morning.

I went out just before dawn. Crispy cold air and soft colours.

Another one taken on 23 December 2007, while I was meant to be Christmas shopping... :-)

And yes..... I did eventually get it all done - the next day.

Volgens veel theorieën zou je oog bij het bekijken een S - vormige lijn volgen vanuit de linker-onder hoek. Niet allen theorie merk ik, ik doe het zelf ook onbewust.
