Still going through some old photos while we're under stay-at-home orders. I hope this goes away soon. I'm yearning for the day when the State and National parks open up again.
A change from HDRs ;-) Yup frost makes such beautiful patterns and also helped me to be ill - i´ve got pretty bad sore throat :´(

Well the snow did not reach my area but a cold night brought the frost and some mist, This is looking North from Lancing ring in Sussex.
I would like to thank you all for your very kind comments and faves this past year I very much appreciate each one.
I wish everybody a happy new year, it can only get better, stay home stay safe , I have a curry being delivered soon which I`m really looking forward too .

An exceptionally sharp photograph captures a trio of GP9 locomotives gliding through the SP yard in Oakland, California.
3719 was built SP 5883 by EMD in Sept. 1959, renumbered to SP 3719 in 1966, and renumbered one more time to SP 2883 in Nov. 1978. The old workhorse was retired in 1984 and traded to EMD.

A sugar maple that puts on a stunning show every fall. The view from under the tree was as beautiful as the front!
It’s a mere 7-degrees and the birds fly off as they are spooked by the oncoming roar of southbound CN train A408. The A408 is led by a pair of IC SD70s, the leader being in black, as they split the town of Pesotum in two with their 80-some car train.
Local train RWT102-28, commonly referred to as the Watts Dodger, picks up speed while crossing a bridge just north of Watts, OK on a sunny September 28, 2022 morning. Leading the train is an ex-Frisco GP40-2, now painted as KCS 2950.
