Project for Provocraft Cricut - more details here - www.sarahhurley.blogspot.com/2012/01/scrapbooking-with-my...
I had such a great time creating these thank you cards for my classmates for graduation. I thought about the impact each person had on me over the last two years as I made their card. This would be a cool Thanksgiving project to do - for your friends or family.
My entry to the Scrapbook.com November 2010 Dark Side Challenge. The assignment was to capture a layout using dark colors and to scrap about the dark side of a fairy tale.
I went a little overboard, but I loved every minute of it.
I captured the story of Sleeping Beauty, the Princess with tons of names, and her dark origins that not many people know about.
This page has lots of distressing along with some stitching and hidden journaling.
I used a picture of Jeffrey Thomas' art from his Twisted Princess collection since it was so vividly dark. I am so impressed with his work!
I am very pleased with the outcome of the page.
The green vines were cut using my Cricut.
