This swap was based on specific paper line so that it could be used with layouts of the same type. I just did lots of layers of paper and ribbon. Cosmo Cricut is the only line that has chipboard pieces that I like, and these were my favorites.
My mom loves anything vintage and Basic Grey usually fits the bill. The Porcelain collection is sooo pretty. And the frame from the Tiny Trinity set from Unity Stamp Co coordinates so well.

Embossing, inking, and used the cricut for cutting the word smile and the swirl. A nice mix of different medium.

All of these cards were made from images lovingly stamped by shutterbuggin for the Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love Buy & Swap on the Cricut Message board.
I found a tutorial online that showed how you can use contact paper for a stencil. I cut out my stencil with my cricut, which made everything super, super easy. :)

The chair (svg file) was made by joesally who is a member of the SVGCuts forum I belong too. I turned it into a fun little card. I made the umbrella diecut with Inkscape and added it all together (including the drink) in SCAL to make the card and cut it out on my Cricut. The sentiments are rub-ons from SU.

I made this card for my cousin who had a second child, a little boy. His big sister was 16 months when he was born so the two little ones are very young. The letters on the bears are to signify the family member's first names. Made with scrap paper and the Create a Critter cartridge.
You load the mat into the machine. then you can move it round so that it custs only where you have put the fondant.
