I just love the colors of this creature from the Monkey Kid series. I had to take it to our creek bottom and photograph it.
It was a great day for toy adventures!
The battery stealer
This little creature is always looking for new sources of energy to recharge itself. Very often, it tends to steal batteries from other electrical devices... infuriating those who use them.
This photo was taken during ArtPrize 2018. The clay sculpture entry was a statement about toxic waste. There were several other creatures, but this guy really caught my eye. It's fun going back to look at older images that were almost forgotten about

Kelpies are shape-shifting water spirits and they can be seen as horses. ... These mythological creatures have the strength of a hundred horses. As heavy horses were used for pulling wagons, barges and coal ships, an equine monument was the obvious choice for along the canal banks.

!😊😊 ENJOY your summer holidays and be creative 😊😊!
Londn is full of mythical creatures, Greek, Egyptian, medieval and occasionally moder-day. Without the lower body I could call this a harpy (or, by the water - a iren?) but the Egyptian (or is it?) hairstyle and overall look make me guess it is probably a sphinx. What do you think?

Soooo I took enough of a break from Witcher 3 to actually build something for a community display a few weeks back. Only got around to taking pictures yesterday, but here he is! The Royal Griffin, a.k.a. the first creature you meet in-game, awesome, majestic, grand and...not so awesome on Death March -__-
It's definitely my largest creature build to date, and a real satisfying at that despite the number of revisions and changes this guy had to go through. Had a blast with the base and rocks too.
I'd love to tackle a Leshen or Fiend build sometime in the future...but for now...back to looting stuff. *scoots*

Christmas dawned with temps of-22F/-30C and we've experienced the same for the last two days with little relief in sight, forecasters hoping for a day or two above 0F/-17C in the upcoming week. We don't really track wind chills here...-20 or -40 really makes little difference, does it? Obviously, this is too cold to do anything outside...very frustrating to one of us, less so for the other.
The last time we experienced this type of extended cold was 2013 which was brutal with 75 days that winter below 0...many well below. I remember it all too well. Since then, we've enjoyed three years of relatively mild weather. Hopefully, this week is not a harbinger.
