On Friday 8th July 2022, we held a graduation ceremony for 169 students from the MSc in Marketing & Creativity (MMK) Classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 at the magnificent Théâtre des Folies Bergères in Paris.
We were very proud and happy to see our three MMK cohorts getting together and celebrating their achievements under the one roof!
We extend our warm congratulations to all graduates and wish you all a tremendous success in your future endeavours!
Students from the Bachelor of Design Studies exhibited their creative works in the Design Studies FIRST Semester Showcase.
The displayed works were from various courses: Drawing and Model Making for Design, History and Theory of Design 1, and Visual Vocabulary: Typography, Colour & Composition.

My desingning teacher asked to create something with only Marquee tool & i made this. My fellows liked it much & me too.

Students used the engineering design process to create an object out of cardboard focusing on the principles of STEAM and our first quarter standards.
An exercise in imagination, I put blobs of masking fluid in a grid on the paper, then a quick dash of watercolour over each one. After rubbing off the masking fluid, I drew a little face into each white dot...

it's a holiday. morning coffee. miso soup, crab dumpling and edamame for lunch. commenting grad students' papers. writing my own paper. cycling around the neighborhood. more writing. grilled mackerel and baked acorn squash for dinner. a calm veteran's day. a quiet wednesday.
Funny and creative. Yes, the bathtub is motor-driven. For non-Swedish speaking people: bad = bath, kar = tub => Badkar in Swedish is bathtub in English. Ha ha ha! Hah... Eh.... :)

Harris Center teacher-naturalist John Benjamin leads a fungus lesson with a group of 8th grade students at Great Brook School in Antrim, NH in November. Great Brook Schooll science teachers work with a combination of in-person and remote students, so a laptop was brought outside to allow the students at home to participate in the lesson. The remote learners then conducted their own mushroom scavenger hunts at home, while John led the activity with the in-person learners in the woods behind their school. When you're teaching in a pandemic, flexibility and creativity are key!
