The assortment of "chocolate" bars Isabel made
Isabel created chocolate bars out of cardboard, and then wrapped them in a wrapper and wrote out the description and price on the wrapper

When I completed my 365 in January of 2012, I wrote these words as part of my conclusion: "Perfectionism stifles creativity. I don't think I realized how much this tendency is alive in me. I'm learning that imperfection is part of the process and valuable in its own right." It's two years later and I STILL struggle with this. I can't tell you how often I procrastinate about shooting because I don't have time to do it "right". So my camera sits in its bag...again. I want to learn to reach for excellence without holding so tightly to that goal that I fail to try ANYTHING new and creative. I want to learn to embrace imperfection as part of learning and remember that the value is in the process and not the product. This is in fact a large part of why I decided to participate in the project again. There will be weeks when I know I will be too busy to devote much time to being creative. I won't be on time with every submission. But I hope I will learn from my mistakes. And I hope I will learn something about balance. And I especially hope to focus more on the joy of shooting without being so critical of my work.

So I get a text message this morning from my sister who informs me that she is getting on a plane to Chicago for business and that she will be checking her "fresh coffee" set once she arrives.
The pressure!
I hadn't planned.
So this is what you get when you command creativity from Chicago.
Tinsel and keyboard bokeh...I better get to work if you are going to be there for longer than a day.

Eco-Friendly Art Studio
This unique space inspires creativity and individual expression.
The building is composed of two recycled Octan Cargo Containers (re-painted with ozone friendly paint of course).
MOC design inspired by my wife, Frances Sky. Her vision realized into real bricks and built to spec by me (Tyler Sky).

1 - Regarder l'image . . elle a deux parties semblables, une gauche et une droite . .
2 - Accomoder votre distance de vision au delà de l'écran, jusqu'à l'infini . .
3 - Laisser les deux parties se séparer, et se recouvrir en une 3ème au centre . .
4 - Laisser votre cerveau vous donner son nouveau point de vue . .
5 - TROP DUR ? Réduire la taille de l'image avec quelques "CTRL / -" . .
1 - Look at the picture . . it has two similar parts, a left and a right one . .
2 - Accomodate your vision distance to look beyond the screen, up to the infinite . .
3 - Let the two parts separating, then recovering in a third central one . .
4 - Let your brain giving you its new "point of view" . .
5 - TOO HARD ? Reduce the picture size using several "CTRL / -" . .
