Will Bryant is a graphic designer and illustrator extraordinaire! Based in Austin, Texas, Will makes things because he gets sad if he doesn't. His work is playful, fun, and always bright. He filled up a DIY Scout Book (Cover included!) in ONE DAY. Seriously. One day. A study in patterns. Sweet!
I remember the exact moment I first saw her, and can still picture it in my mind; I nervously said "Hi, I'm Zac," to which she replied "Hi, I'm Sabrina." We got to know each other over the course of a few weeks, working together at our summer job, and then I got up the nerve to ask her out. I was pleasantly surprised when she said "sure, do you want to go see a movie?" We dated through highschool, all of undergrad, and part of grad school at which time we got married, 4 years ago tomorrow, and here we are some 13 years after first meeting, still going strong. I love you my dear and look forward to many more years to come.
Sabrina is difficult to photograph because her eyes seem to be synced with the flash and close before the shutter can open. I managed to take this with my Sigma 105mm macro lens, Nikon D40 and SB-600. Originally color, I selectively changed to B&W, added a diffuse glow, and adjusted the shadows/highlights and exposure.
A moment of reflection through the mirror with my Canon 5D Mark II, a true companion in the storytelling journey. This self-portrait captures not just a photographer's profile but the essence of the passion that drives the art.
In the heart of Scandinavia, amidst the whispering pines and the gentle caress of the northern wind, there unfolds a tale of earth and artistry. This series captures the essence of a young potter, whose hands breathe life into clay, shaping it into forms as ancient as time and as fresh as a morning dew. From the initial caress of raw earth to the triumphant emergence of creation, we trace her journey through moments of passion, introspection, and serene completion. Welcome to "Clay Whispers: A Potter's Journey," a visual ode to the timeless dance between creator and creation.
Poem:
In the grasp of her hands, clay turns and twists,
Ancient whispers caught in modern mist.
Beneath her fingers, stories unfold,
Of warmth, of courage, bold yet untold.
In the glow of the kiln, dreams take flight,
Shadows dance in the flickering light.
Each piece, a fragment of her soul's song,
In clay, she finds where her heart belongs.
As the wheel spins, so do the days,
In her art, the echo of nature's ways.
With every touch, a world comes alive,
In the dance of clay, her spirit thrives.
Haiku:
Clay beneath her touch,
Whispers of earth, air, and fire,
Art in motion blooms.

Three exposure HDR of .223 caliber bullets, overlaid posterized & glowing edge filter layers, and adjusted the hue & saturation of each color. I think this might look neat as a large metallic print hung on the wall.
