We very excited that he took the time to fill this Scout Book so expertly with collage work. We even see some letterpress bits and pieces in there!
We're stoked to share this two-tone owl design by Sara Lintner as part of our growing Friends collection!
Illustrator and designer, Ben Weiland, made these great Scout Books for 2011. They feature some of his great illustration work and a nice little spot on the back to be filled in with a note and the name of some lucky recipient. Scout Books make such great gifts, fun to give and receive. Learn more about Ben by checking out his portfolio from the link above or take a peek at his blog!
We're getting ready to make DIY Scout Books available in quantities of 50!

Do you do letterpress? Collage? Screenprinting? Rubber stamps? Embroidery? Then these are your jam.
What would you do with 50 DIY (aka BLANK) Scout Books? I'm feeling ready for a giveaway...
I designed this logo for an ANALYTICS business startup company. they are usually going to start up a business by which they will find a query and go to their customer's house and search about the problem and solve them. They have another motive they will analyze some natural things and will come up with a solution. They are one kind of researcher who loves to research many things on need. As their name was "ADVANCED ANALYTICS PTY LIMITED" I designed the letter A with a search button (magnifying glass) which indicates their search and research or analyze based company which visualizes their work area and industry. They have gone with this and it made their brand a step forward.
In color psychology, I used the color Woodland and Portland Orange. Color WOODLAND visualizes nature and especially olive color, It is related to their business. the color PORTLAND ORANGE indicates the improvement and strong desire to satisfy their clients fully.
Are you looking to have your brand a step forward like them? Or are you going to start a shop on Shopify or on Amazon or on Etsy? for which you need a premium logo for your online store like this? Come to me and get a premium design that is attractive more than this. As an experienced graphics and logo designing expert, I will be happy to help you in this matter. Sara Barner handcrafts leather goods and jewelry right here in Portland. She had these custom chipboard cards made to use as tags with her leather goods, and she was kind enough to share photos of the cards in context. Thanks Sara!

We have a TON of fantastic printing samples from all the jobs we've had the fortune of printing over the years.
We put them up with little magnets on this giant metal board that hangs in our front office.
The other week, we decided it was time for a change. This is the board before.
The Burnside Review published this special, all-Oregon issue with a grant from Literary Arts Oregon.
Featuring a unique sewn binding and a sturdy chipboard cover, this book collects the best minds of the Oregon literary scene in one place! Cover artwork was lovingly penned by Justin "Scrappers" Morrison.
These pocket notebooks were created by Pilot to be used as giveaways and note taking tools for a workshop they held with a client. Pilot’s plan is to create a series of Scout Books–one for each workshop held. The bold illustration style used on this Scout Book translates really well on the chipboard. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
Cap height, ascender, bowl, serif, baseline: there are a lot of things to keep track of when designing letterforms! The Type Sketcher trio of pocket notebooks helps you stay on track as you design. This set features one book for uppercase, one book for lowercase, and one book for numerals, punctuation and symbols. Each book comes with a brief but informative guide to the basics of type design that serve as gentle guides for beginners and helpful reminders for seasoned type designers.
This trio of pocket tools was developed in partnership with Ian Lynam, in hopes that type designers everywhere keep sketching!
Mia Christopher is a whirlwind of bright productivity. As a multi-disciplinary artist residing in San Francisco, Mia is filling the art world with color and whimsy, participating in group and solo shows up and down the West Coast as well as internationally. All this while she's working toward her BFA from the California College of the Arts. We can't wait to see what's next from Mia. Stay tuned for more Scout Books from Mia; she filled up THREE with playful illustrations and material studies.

We took some Hacienda Esmerelda beans over to our friends at Cellar Door Roasters and they brewed it for us using their hand-crafted pour-over set up.
Nicolas then added a few drops of the coffee to the ink, just to make these books extra special.
From Dave Selden, the creator of 33 Bottles of Beer and 33 Bottles of Wine, with a little help from Chris Tacy and Brent Fortune, comes 33 Cups of Coffee. And none too soon as the Winter months are in full swing! Nothing comes close to a piping hot cup of coffee when it’s chilly out.
In true 33 Books fashion, this journal comes complete with a flavor wheel and list terms, demystified.
Wave Church just held a conference in their amazing Wave Convention Center. The conference took place August 4th through the 6th with multiple keynote speakers and activities all located in the resort city of Virginia Beach, VA with sessions for all ages and interests. Scout Books were only too thrilled to join the party as they are a necessity for any convention!
