Yet another sea pool in Dinard, built by the architect René Aillerie during the 20's, as well as a row of cabanas on the promenade along the beach.
Mona Caron painted an amazing mural on Church Street at 15th Street. She is protecting it under a Creative Commons license.
Here's my photo on flickr of the entire mural.

the 1934 Longshoremen's strike, with the suppresion of the strikers by the police using teargas
the annual labor day parade held from the 1930s to the 1950s
a 1980s gay pride parade, complete with mini-Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence
the post-dotcom-present, with an awesome detail of members of the Billboard Liberation Front at work
the 2003 march against the Iraq War, with my favorite protest sign EVAH: "Blondes Against Dumb Wars"
and finally an awesome depiction of the future, with canals, zeppelins, solar-powered streetcars, and tons of little details.
Think of it as Where's Waldo for San Franciscans.

ARCTIC OCEAN - Paul Delvin, chief cook of the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Louis S. St-Laurent, prepares a cheese platter for the 2009 Arctic Barbeque aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Healy Sept. 5.
The Arctic barbeque featured a "surf and turf'' menu. For the turf offerings, the Healy’s cooks prepared steak, chili and pulled pork.
The Canadians prepared smoked salmon, shrimp, scallops and lobster.
After the meal, the crews competed in the inaugural Arctic Olympics. Cribbage, foosball, air hockey and a number of interactive video games were just a few of the premier events.
While the Healy crew and science party fought valiantly, it was not enough. The Canadians won the most events and were crowned champions of the first Arctic games.
“It was all in good fun,” said Navy Petty Officer First Class Richard Lehmkuhl. “It was a great meal and being able just hang out and take it easy was nice,” he said.

One of the advantages of posting content via Creative Commons licensing on Flickr is that, when one of my images is used and credited I learn about things I wouldn't have learned about otherwise.
For example: The University of Southern California just released a report on The Economic Benefits of Immigrant Authorization in California. The report:
"Measures the benefits that would accrue to the state and the nation if the currently unauthorized Latino workforce in California were legalized. CSII researchers used a conservative economic model that accounts for the wage “penalty” incurred by the undocumented, assumes a very slow increase in English skills and educational levels, and does not account for gains from future migration. Despite this conservative modeling, the report finds that significant immediate and long-term benefits would accrue not only to affected workers, but to the state and nation overall."
