Here is the Longstone on the chains, Longstone barrow can be seen in the background. These are ancient bronze age monuments which are part of a series of ancient landmarks found on these high moorland hilltops in South West England. The remote location means few people venture this far and even then only infrequently.

the purple flowered plant is Krameria glandulosa (range ratany). II believe that the prickly pear is Opuntia macrocentra, sometimes called the "purple cactus" or Long-Spine Prickly Pear. I loved the contrast in colors.
A public Sunday friendly time and overs club cricket match between Eastons Cricket Club and Epping Foresters Cricket Club Sunday 1st XI, at the Recreation Ground on Manor Road in Little Easton, Essex, England on 12 July 2020. Result: Eastons 210 for 3 / Epping Foresters 208 for 5. Eastons won by 7 wickets.

The Arizona desert while moving to Texas. The moving truck was flat out at 68 mph - the big rigs didn't have that problem.
PANORAMA CITY - The Los Angeles Fire Department proudly hosted a graduation ceremony on April 1, 2023, to mark the accomplishments of dozens of high school students, who successfully completed the LAFD Youth Fire Academy, designed to train students for a prospective career in fire and emergency services. The graduation ceremony at the LAFD Valley Recruit Training Academy featured a practical skills demonstration by the cadets that highlighted their training.
