The boats in the foreground are sat on a mud bank and attached to pontoons, awaiting the high tide. A boat can be seen moored in the channel behind, this is reportedly a riskier location due to the dangers of fallen trees being carried down the river, especially when the river is in flood, but has the advantage of not needing to wait for the tide. A huge concrete slab is dropped on the river bed to serve as an anchor point as a conventional anchor will not suffice to hold fast against the power of the river.The boats on the bank face the hazards of acts of vandalism instead! In the cliff behind can be seen the opening of Gloucester Hole.

ILO FUNDAMENTALS Head of Solutions and Innovations Unit Francesco D'Ovidio share the ways forward at the Inter-Regional Knowledge Sharing on Child Labour and Working Conditions in the Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (ASGM) held in Manila, Philippines from 28 to 30 May 2019. The 3-day forum provided a venue to exchange knowledge, technologies, practices and challenges to put forward concrete solutions to address child labour and poor working conditions in the ASGM sector.

150.111 sits at Preston prior to departure on 2H00 10:23 Preston to Hazel Grove. Part of the batch of class 150/1 units transferred from London Midland which were based at Tyseley for cross-Birmingham services. Birmingham get new class 172s and Northern Rail continue to run with one of the oldest DMU fleet in the country. Still in West Midlans livery, needless to say this will visit the paint shops at some point to receive Northern Rail's livery.

We asked a diverse spectrum of music-minded friends to contribute 8-second sound loops with any ambience, tonality or texture they desired. These loops expand in open ears.
