We had a shooting day / workshop for www.squeezethelime.com
At the end the participants and I decided to make a bit of a creative architectural group shot. The abandoned building was just too beautiful not to use.
LIGHTING INFO: 4 speedlights on stands hidden behind the pilars on full power and one speelight on half power superclamped to the window frame pointing straight at the group. Full CTO filters on all flashes.
These five images are from 2012. I did my usual adjustments in LR, then brought them into PSE13 to experiment with filters and effects. Then, I brought them back into LR for finishing touches.

My favorite Christiania house - I think ... At least it was very pretty in the morning light!
I think it has taken the guy as many years to build it as there are angles on the house - and it's still in progress...
Built from mostly recycled and organic materials.

Hoad says as these new homes get built, it might get harder to find cheap housing in Hintonburg. The cheapest is obviously rental, she says.

Gaskell Hall, named after William Gaskell, is the school Gymnasium. Inter-house Boxing and Gym competition are some of the main events held in Gaskell Hall. On one of the walls of the gymnasium is a quotation from Rudyard Kipling’s “Kim”, and it reads “Send him to Sanawar and make a man of him.”

The transformation of King's Cross station by John McAslan + Partners (JMP) represents a compelling piece of place-making for London. The show-piece is clearly the Western Concourse - Europe’s largest single span station structure and the heart of the development, but the overall project is far more complex: an extraordinary, collaborative effort that has delivered an internationally significant transport interchange, fit for the 21st century and beyond. Three-storey house for a summer residence on 8 square meters
The Allergutendinge architectural bureau managed to accommodate a kitchen of 8 square meters, a study with a window, a bedroom with a dining area and a terrace. When disassembled, the structure is placed in a van.

This is a bank near Schoolcraft College, and to me has the characteristics of some modern church buildings. It's nice to see some creative architecture in a new building.
I know the symmetry isn't there, but that's because the building is not symmetrical. So there.
