Bathroom has become a living space, a shower in the bedroom, furniture in the bath, TV and fireplace by the tub... The bathroom and living areas are blurring the lines. Can you comment on the trend?

King's Cross railway station, also known as London King's Cross, is a passenger railway terminus in the London Borough of Camden, on the edge of Central London. It is in the London station group, one of the busiest stations in the United Kingdom and the southern terminus of the East Coast Main Line to North East England and Scotland. Adjacent to King's Cross station is St Pancras International, the London terminus for Eurostar services to continental Europe. Beneath both main line stations is King's Cross St. Pancras tube station on the London Underground; combined they form one of the country's largest transport hubs. The transformation of King's Cross station by John McAslan + Partners (JMP) represents a compelling piece of place-making for London. The show-piece is clearly the Western Concourse - Europe’s largest single span station structure and the heart of the development, but the overall project is far more complex: an extraordinary, collaborative effort that has delivered an internationally significant transport interchange, fit for the 21st century and beyond. Birdwood - The academic block, The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Himachal Pradesh, India.
Founded by Sir Henry and Lady Honoria Lawrence, Sanawar is believed to be the first co-educational boarding school in the world. On 15 April 1847, a group of 14 boys and girls camped at the top of the foothills of the Himalayas. They lived under canvas for some weeks anxiously waiting for the first buildings to be completed before the arrival of the monsoon. Thus did Sanawar come into existence. By 1853, the school had grown to 195 pupils when it was presented with the King's Colour. One of only six schools and colleges ever to be so honoured in the entire British Empire British Empire, the others being Eton Eton College, Shrewsbury , Cheltenham, the Duke of York's Royal Military School and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Sanawar has held its Colour for the longest unbroken period.
The Brisbane River runs through downtown Brisbane, Australia. Even though the river is fairly wide, several bridges make it easy for pedestrians to cross. In fact, two of the bridges are for pedestrians and bicycles only. Both of these pedestrian bridges employ creative architecture, and both provide shade for the pedestrians. The bridge shown here, the Kurilpa Bridge, is reminiscent of the masts and riggings on a sailing ship. This bridge opened in October 2009, just one year prior to my visit.
The Disney Concert Hall, although beautiful, seems to be a waste of money to me. It's nice, but Los Angeles had a perfectly good hall already, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. It's built though and has a very creative architecture that adds to the "interestingness" of the city.

Today we had a shooting day / workshop for www.squeezethelime.com
At the end the participants and I decided to make a bit of a creative architectural group shot. The abandoned building was just too beautiful not to use.
LIGHTING INFO: 4 speedlights on stands hidden behind the pilars on full power (one of them didn't fire because of the long recycling time in this picture) and one speelight on half power superclamped to the window frame pointing straight at the group. Full CTO filters on all flashes.
Kerala's Munkudil Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat is an incredibly stunning eco-friendly location for traditional Kerala ayurveda resorts packages.
Our home has a distinctive creative architecture and is situated in Kochi, close to the booming Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary, on the banks of the beautiful Kuttanpuzha river.
Munkudil is one of the Day out destinations near cochin and was created for those who desire to immerse themselves in the ethnic customs, cuisine, and culture of God's Own Country, Kerala.
Serious drinkers can belly up to the bar, which is large enough to do duty in a busy restaurant while others can laze around on sofas from Casa Paradox.

[READ ME] Yes, I spent [the above] and had the time of my life! As soon as we got to Paris Nord station via EuroStar, we set off on the journey to find our hotel, and discovered that it was only a 10 minute drive away from the Station. Our hotel was named Hotel Élysées Union, and we were able to view the Eiffel tower from the window and the entire street, which was too awesome! The hotel was beautiful from the inside and I fell in love with it immediately, including its location; the streets were so ambient when we arrived, even though we were literally minutes away from Trocadéro (Eiffel Tower and neighbouring buildings) . On day one, we relaxed a bit at the hotel before we set off in our adventure to Troc. I tell you, never have I seen so many people in one space at any given time, IT WAS PACKED. It was almost like they were performing a pilgrimage to see this beautiful structure and to be honest, I'm not surprised why; it is simply stunning. Having said that, I have been to Paris and France quite a few times (6 or 7) but it just gets better and better; as if it gets more beautiful everytime, wonderful! On the way, we discovered what I found to be the best pizza I had ever tasted, from a place called Speed Rabbit Pizza (quite a discerning name but it sure didnt taste of rabbit, so don't panic! ;D) I definitely recommend it if you come to Paris! Lovely stuff, same with the shop-baked crisp baguettes from the patisserie! So nostalgic! :D Day two was a day to be spent mostly down the Champs-Élysées, the home of the world famous Tour De France. We took a taxi to the shop-packed streets and then stopped roughly halfway down the two mile long (roughly?) road...... BAD BAD idea! We ended walking what felt like ages to reach the Arc de Triomph at the end of the road after shopping. I certainly slept well that night; so so painful on the feet and legs but we had fun! We spent half an hour taking photos etc when we found that everyone suddenly started gathering towards the very edge of the street, so we went to see what was going on. It turns out the French athletes of the London 2012 olympics were due to be paraded around the Arc and we took full opportunity to see them arrive. They did, and in amazing big blue open-top buses, waving and flaunting their massive medals, treasures of the games. It was fantastic to see them, and I'm pretty sure I got caught on some of the newspapers and media shots as I was one of the people at the very front taking pictures of them arriving, so look out for me on French TV! Lol! It only makes me wonder what our British celebrations consisted of back home! Even better, I'd imagine! :D Day three was much more a day where we were getting set to return home, but we did spend time in a taxi spinning around Notre Dame etc before we returned to the Paris Nord station to head back home. This was by far one of THE best holiday experiences of my life; normally i'm not too keen on travel, especially if I haven't really had experience of the language or sites etc, but this time was amazing. I guess I just really needed a holdiay! ;D The people were amazingly helpful, everybody spoke English even though I did my best to flaunt my French (broken French is better of a phrase to describe my linguistic skills ;F) the streets were beautiful, and everything was just amazing! I really look forward to going back again, and urge you to as well. PS. Apologies for making my holiday insight a holiday essay! :D xxx
The School is vertically divided into four Houses, namely, Himalaya, Nilagiri, Siwalik and Vindhya. Each House is a small family with its contingent of Boys, Girls and Teachers. The Housestaff form the head of the these families. Every teacher is given a small group of students to monitor as his or her tutorial group. This system goes a long way to monitor the development of the students. The matrons take over the motherly role in the dormitories.
The School has a time tested Prefectorial system, which is run by the students of class XII.
The School believes that by giving the students the authority and responsibility, they can exercise initiative and enthusiasm.

"Portal" by Beca Infrastructure
24th February – 8th March
Beca is a large multidisciplinary, New Zealand owned engineering consultancy.
Beca prides itself on the delivery of innovative solutions, and recently has had the opportunity to integrate art within some of our transportation projects; through creative architecture and engineered forms, through to the delivery of sculptures and pieces of ‘public art’. This has received international acclaim for our clients, and has resulted in changes in expectation and the design of major transportation projects.
This in turn has inspired the Transportation team to undertake a series of creative sessions to produce ‘Pieces of Design’ for the office walls (basic designs that the whole team could work on). The aim was primarily fun but with an eye to creating a more creative work setting.
Portal is the collective (and first) exhibition of both the Transportation team, and Carron Blom, a senior environmental scientist at Beca who has championed both the project and in-house creativity.
