For a dull and wet Thursday morning in Dublin we head up to the "Wee North" today to gather some sunshine in Newcastle! Bryansford House looks like a significant pile with a certain symmetry to its frontage suggesting - almost- a semi-detached building?
We learned that this house was the main estate house at Tollymore Park demense - now an NI state forest park of the same name. Originally built for James Hamilton, Earl Clanbrassil in the 1730s, it was the family seat for several generations of the Earls of Roden, who developed the estate lands. The house itself fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1952. The estate, its forest, follies, barns and bridges (some of which we have visited before) thankfully survive....

Hello everybody :)
One year ago I made a MOC starring "The Green Dragon Inn" ( www.flickr.com/photos/128592570@N05/24302806389/in/datepo... ) from the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings movies. Due to the fact that I wasn´t happy how that creation turned out, I decided to make a redo of it. Therefore I started building the Green Dragon Inn again. I tried to include many details, like the Farmer Maggot and his dogs arriving in Hobbiton or a kitbash minifigure of Bilbo.
The base is inspired by Wookieewarrior ( www.flickr.com/photos/133782039@N08 ), the watering can and the use of the croissants as wings are inspired by Simon NH ( www.flickr.com/photos/138986803@N03 ) and the posing of the leaves on the tree is inspired by Sanellukovic ( www.flickr.com/photos/92767814@N02/32915989124/in/datepos... ).

I decided to donate this mail delivery speeder bike
They sell custom lego creations, and the proceeds are used to buy lego sets for underprivileged children.
This speeder bike comes as a fully playable set, including a mailman, four letters, a snack (pretzel and coffee), a piece of road and a transparent stand.
The minifigure can sit on the speeder bike,
letters and snack can be stored in the bike’s containers,
by means of the transparent stand it can be displayed "hovering" above the road.
I used old and new bricks, all in good condition.

One of my earliest creations that wasn't a rainbow warrior. I made this when I was 5, and gave it to my Mom as a present. It's been collecting dust on her desk, so I thought I would post it for the heck of it.

A nice colorful sky this evening. Every sunset has a different feel and look. This one had several thin clouds illuminating with various shades of orange. Adjusted the white balance to bring out the golden tones.
With the softness of the feelings of love, the power of love is powerful.
