Homage to Beatrix Potter and her roguish creation Peter Rabbit. While I love Beatrix Potters stories and wonderful illustrations it is her work as a conservationist that I admire most.
Helen Beatrix Potter 28 July 1866 – 22 December 1943) was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist. She is best known for her children's books featuring animals, such as The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which was her first commercially published work in 1902. Her books, including 23 Tales, have sold more than 250 million copies. An entrepreneur, Potter was a pioneer of character merchandising. My entry for round 1 of The Middle Earth LEGO Olympics over on MOCpages. The category was to create a build based on one of J.R.R Tolkien’s poems or songs. Here is the one I chose:
Farewell we call to hearth and hall!
Though wind may blow and rain may fall,
We must away ere break of day
Far over wood and mountain tall.
To Rivendell, where Elves yet dwell
In glades beneath the misty fell,
Through moor and waste we ride in haste,
And whither then we cannot tell.

I tried to portray the 3 main themes of the song: hearth and home, travel through the wild, and Rivendell.

C'est dans la chapelle Sixtine que, traditionnellement depuis le ove siècle, les cardinaux réunis en conclave élisent le nouveau pape (des conclaves s'étant tenus également dans la Cappella Parva et le palais du Quirinal), et obligatoirement depuis la constitution apostolique Universi Dominici Gregis édictée par Jean-Paul II en 1996… Photo prise lors de ma visite au Vatican et pour moi c'est ma façon de rendre Hommage au grand Maître qu'est Michel Ange)…
J'ai tout simplement le bonheur d'avoir photographié et partagé avec vous ce chef d'oeuvre mondialement bien connu...

Festival des lumières qui a lieu chaque année depuis 6 ans. Pendant 10 jours
les artistes exposent des "sculptures ou créations originales lumineuses" disséminées dans toute la ville. Certaines de ces œuvres ne figurent pas dans mes photos car trop discrètes.

the artists exhibit "luminous original sculptures or creations" scattered throughout the city. Some of these works do not appear in my photos because they are too discreet.
