Bubble macro shot symbolizing an invasion of Corona-viruses Colliding against a wall of resistance ( hope this will happen soon).
Ca va être long !
Self-isolation
isn't a dream.
Some want to shout,
others want to scream,
some feast on chocolate,
others on ice cream.
But remember You are safe
when You don't go out for a roam
Mr. Covid-19 can't get you at home.
I know it's a task but there's
no need to wear a mask!

In June 2020, after experiencing a devastating spring due to COVID, New York State announced that certain businesses could begin partially opening again. New York City’s response included a program called Open Restaurants, which allowed restaurants to use sidewalks and parking spaces for outdoor, socially distant dining. Owners quickly built temporary enclosures in the streets in front of their businesses to try and recover from months of shutdown. Small stretches of Brooklyn in early 2021 display the variety and feel of these enclosures. Hopefully, the Open Restaurants initiative will help these businesses to survive and may even lead to a more permanent reorienting of streets to prioritize people over cars.
Jasper and I remain working at home during the pandemic. Most of the days spent with headphones on. On the bright side, the headphones act kind of like a hair band to keep my lengthening hair under control. The number of COVID cases is up sharply in Arizona, breaking new records this weekend. Most municipalities in the Phoenix area have mandated faces masks in public starting last weekend. So I'm not mingling with the masses. Sure I could shave, but I enjoy the furry-faced solidarity I feel working side-by-side with Jasper and his unshaven face. 😉
Est-ce une histoire d'infraviolets ? Certainement.

The humble blackberry plant is thriving during this pandemic which made me decide that the gorgeous and delectable blackberry syrup I concocted is a preventative elixir which will keep the Covid cooties away ... but I'll still be cautious and wear my mask, wash my hands and not hang out with the masses ... :)

Every sunset is different, because every day; sun
is different, clouds are different, space is different,
reflections are different....mountains are different,
fogs are different, and above all, we are different.

Sunsets are proof; that no matter what
happens...every day can end beautifully.

Now a common sight, people waiting their turn to go into a shop, or bank or surgery.
All very civilized and calm - not all things related to Coronavirus have turned out to be bad.
Having departed the western terminus of GO's Milton Line just a few minutes prior, GMD F59PH 563 is already up to track speed as it screams up the Hornby Dip on CP's Galt Sub at Milton, Ontario. As a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of GO's Milton Line trains have been reduced from their typical twelve-car consist down to six. Requiring less motive power than the former, a handful of these venerable GMD workhorses have been assigned to a route usually dominated by their modern and ubiquitous successor, the MPI MP40PH-3C.

While photographing this picture, I remembered my grandparents and wondered what our get-togethers would look like in Covid’s time. This picture was taken in early 2020 when no vaccine was yet available. Grandfather and granddaughter found a promenade along the Drava River, as a place where they could meet and walk, be together. They told me that they both had to make compromises, but that they liked this way of socializing more and more. As long as it is not too cold or rainy and as long as school obligations allow it. Is there a greater love than the love of grandparents for grandchildren?
