I haven't been around in awhile due to state testing, end of the school year and then when school was finally out...Covid finally caught me on Memorial Weekend. It's been hell...second week of this nasty disease and I just want it to go away. First week was hell...this week is rough, but with all the meds the doc has me on I hope I feel better soon. Stay safe everyone...Covid is out there and ready to pick its next victim.

....the smells.

everything smelled nasty, except for the Double Delight roses. even water smelled bad.

everything still smells funny.

so I occasionally took time and smelled the roses.

and later on, the Chinese food.

small favors.

NO MORE WAR.

A shot taken on Angel Corner in Strood.

This is the covid face mask clad statue that stands on the corner.

I shot this image on my IPhone 11, and post processed using the internal processing options. I thought a heavily edited noir edition suited the need.

Day 11

actually I ordered Chinese takeout today. leon picked it up for me, for us both.

steamed white rice

hot and sour soup

teriaki chicken [too dry] so we added it to our hot and sour soup.

and 2 fortune cookies.

when I called in the order I told the lady that we had covid and I wanted food! she laughed and said, soup.

they have 5 different kinds.

another hot day and I'm moving really slow trying to get some watering done while everyone waits on me.

**my condolences for the death of the Queen.

**remember that Ukraine is still being warred against.

No More.

In America, 670,000 people have died from COVID-19. This exhibit of 670,000 flags (and more every day) is meant to remember those that passed.

You can visit this immense field of flags on the National Mall, in Washington, DC, from September 17 - October 3, 2021. Visitors are invited to personalize flags for someone they have lost.
