I bought this dress to be my wedding dress when I thought I would not find a wedding dress that suited my tastes. Much to my surprise, I did actually find a white wedding dress that I liked, but I still wanted to wear this one so I did so during the first hour of the night, when people were arriving on the red carpet and enjoying the concession stand.

A woman holds a rainbow rose outside the Manhattan Clerk's Office on Sunday morning as hundreds lined up waiting for the doors to open and same-sex couples to be legally married for the first time in the State of New York.
This couple climbed up on top of their car in front of us to watch the fireworks display for July 4th. They happened to be lined up perfectly so I kept seeing their silhouette against the explosions.
It was very difficult to get a crisp shot as we were located on the upper deck of a parking garage - and it was shaking (or rather vibrating) ever-so-slightly from all the people. It wasn't very noticeable normally...until one tried to hold a camera still! I managed to only get a few usable images...I'll post one other later.

Such a wonderful night for these two loveboids!
It was a lovely wedding, all the abandonded objects came and had a great time.
The air conditioner was radiant in her rusted white glory, and the Mattress had a snazzy satin square instead of a bow tie.
The dancing, boozing, and music went on until ?????, in the wee hours of the morning.
They'll be honeymooning in Cancun for the week. We're all so happy for those crazy kids!
