Our embryo that was in the lab didn't make it. It made me sad. But it made me feel like it was the right thing to go along with the clinic's recommendation to transfer four. I bought a wall decoration for my new house a couple of weeks ago and I really need to hang it up. I bought it for the kitchen/breakfast area. It says "count your blessings". I need that little reminder more often than I would like to admit. So in this image - I am thankful for that worn out old couch that was handed down from my mom - it is sturdy and comfortable and elgantly shabby; I'm thankful for that rotten dog on the ottomon in front of me; I'm thankful for that camera bag that carries the tools I need to pursue my artistic expression; I'm thankful for the prints by my favorite artist - van gogh - that I have yet to hang; but mostly I am thankful for the little girl who loves to fix her mommy's hair so beautifully and then wants to take a picture. Yes - this was taken with my D50 by my 7 year old! I am blessed.
