I spotted some cool red shoes while at the car wash on Wednesday.

Piton de la Fournaise is a shield volcano on the eastern side of Réunion island in the Indian Ocean. It is currently one of the most active volcanoes in the world, along with Kīlauea and Etna.

Most of its eruptions are of the Hawaiian style: fluid basaltic lava flowing out with fire fountaining at the vent. Lava flows crossing the Grand Brûlé occasionally reach the sea, with spectacular results. But occasionally, phreatic eruptions occur.

The last eruption occurred on 9 December 2010 and lasted for two days.

This photo was taken on april 2001, 10 days after the end of a short eruption from the rim of the Dolomieu crater. It shows the stream from the cooling lava flow.

A businessman in a crisp, pin-striped designer suit met his wife and children on a square. His golden-haired daughter wanted to watch a street musician perform, so the Daddy picked his little girl up and put her on his shoulders. Now that's a cool Dad!

Lovely hot sunshine today, but if you found just the right place near this fountain, there was a cooling fine spray - perfect

As I was cleaning those random boxes at my house, I found bunch of my old newspaper clips. I could not help taking my time sorting out each pages. This is one of them. Article was originally published through the Ventura County Star, then AP moved it up for their showcase later.

When I got this assignment, my boss asked me if I had a SUV... As I drive through the canyon side of the Montecito and Carpinteria, I had arrived to this great estate.

This cool house is located in the middle of the woods near Santa Barbara. The area was known for the wild fire. Beverly Hills architect Barton Myers, shown in the picture with his wife, Vicki, has designed fire resistant home. The house is something you see in the Dwell magazine.

Hooray! My first trip to the Detroit Auto Show... Loved it! Taken @ the Detroit Auto Show 2013

Staying cool on a hot day

Cool technology for controlling audio developed at the University of Aalborg showcased at The Scientific Village

Shot while i was waiting for Norah Jones to perform in Vorst Nationaal, Brussels. Unfortunatly no pictures of the gig, scince i was like ten million kilometres away from the stage, crappy seat.

I was freakishly hot, Norah said: i'm hot, are you guys hot too? My piano's hot too. But that's cool.

Exactly what these guys where hoping for, after paying 3,5 euro for a bottle of coke. Crazypeople!!

Good show, for the record.

Cool Mint - nice foliage. Good symmetry, I just need to figure out where to chop.

So, when you buy Cool Ranch Doritos in Iceland, they adjust for Ranch bias. My wife bought these on our last day in Iceland so I didn't have the opportunity to request "American" dressing on my salad to see how that worked out.

The water was wonderfully warm on the beaches of Dubrovnik, Croatia. My guide book wasn't kidding when they described how perfect the Adriatic Sea is.

On Thursday, May 23, 2013, El Paso’s own Chicago tribute band, Windy City, headlined the opening night for the Cool Canyon Nights free concert series in the McKelligon Canyon amphitheatre. Nestled deep within the canyon walls of the Franklin Mountains, the amphitheatre offers a beautiful open-air setting with seating for approximately 1,600 people. On this particular night, there was a near-capacity crowd on hand as Windy City performed the hits that made Chicago famous during the ‘70s and ‘80s and which have retained their enduring popularity.
