Pola-J66-conversion project

1965 PB-250 Gibson Bowtie Banjo, Serial # 330004
With new conversion neck, 1950's thick rim, and nickel parts. This one has a Faulkner tone ring.
New replacement 1950s GIbson Kluson firebird banjo tuners for RB-250 w/ Cream buttons and a genuine original matching KLUSON friction 5th string tuner button.
I found a 70-210 Tokina lens, autofocus specially made for Nikon and decided to try to convert it to 4/3 and to use in my Olympus e500.
It cost me 10Euros, so I though "I am not going to loose much..."
I studied both mounts and found the differences to be minimal, so I decided (sorry Nikon lovers) to mutilate it to adapt for 4/3.
So I did and it works nicely (except that it is no longer auto focus and will no longer be fully working on a Nikon...)
Mutilations:
1 - Removal of the lever to control the diaphragm
2 - Removal of the Nikon electric contacts
3 - Two millimeters cut in the ring to fit the 4/3 mount
Works great and with a special 2x teleconverter I made from a ext25 tube it is now working as a 140-420 lens.
Extension and Attic Conversion:
This is a picture of an attic conversion and a new kitchen extension that we completed. The build was a 1930s detached bungalow, which needed total remodelling both externally and internally. The customer was really happy with the finished product and as a result this project has generated a lot of further work for CMC.
