I spent a few hours last weekend converting my old D70 to be an infrared camera. This involved changing the hotmirror that sits in front of the sensor.
The photo above is the hotmirror covering the sensor within the D70. The standard hotmirror was removed and replaced with a hotmirror that does not allow visible light to pass (black to the eye) and only allows infrared frequency ranges through to the sensor.

I never liked the old Tomb Spyders, although I own 3 un-built models. And the plastic model doesn't quite do it form me, but I bought one for bits.
These were made from the Canoptek Leech body from the Obelisk, a stalker body for the underside, plastic spyder bits. Along with 4mm beads, 1x 10mm bead, brass tubing, and some electronics connector pins.
I always liked the idea of Imperial Beastmen in WH40k so made my own from WHFB beastmen and marine parts. The beastman with the rifle is an original Imperial Beastman who I acquired just as I began this project
