My J66 sitting on my workbench (OK, it's really just my much abused washing machine) after the conversion. I forgot to take photos until I had already loaded it with 120 film so if you want to see the guts of it you'll have to wait until I finish the roll. Shouldn't take too long, since the shots are 6x12. Only 6 to a roll of film.

The bike conversion story is told here. The owner gave it up because the small wheels didn't seem to do it for him so says the chap who sold it to me from Craigslist. It doesn't actually fold as is even though it's a folder married to the cruzbike kit. The recumbent seat is clamped onto the fold so would have to be removed to fold. And the handlebar doesn't fold down as before.

I also like the idea of a cruzbike with xtracycle.

self made polaroid conversion 110a.

new polaroid strap, new lens graflex ektar, new 900 finder/viewer. cable release internal, polaroid or film back options, dye leather, tripod socket extension added. light weight, right on accurate focus, folds up into small package. sharp images.

My first Moon capture with my Tele Conversion Rig using a Canon PowerShot SX10 IS and the TRK Extension Tube Adapter with an Olympus TCON-17 Tele Conversion Lens.

Moon Through Some Clouds. TRK Rig IMG_9883 It was partly cloudy tonight and since I have been waiting for a clear night for a couple of weeks, I took this capture with my new Tele Conversion Rig. It would have been much better on a clear night. Photo is an untouched SOOC (except for some cropping). I kept this photo pristine and natural like my other photos

My Rig is shown below.

The lights dim ominously and the gurney the Captain is strapped to beings to slowly lower into position. His pulse quickens as he hears powerful generators roar into life and the clicking and whirring of machinery coming from all about him.

How-to Conversion Video.

I've got the process down to about 3 hours of work. The only extra piece/material needed for the conversion is M42-to-EOS adapter (found readily on ebay). Needless to say, the lens will never again see the light of an old Minolta system (it's a destructive conversion, see the mount being turned below to ready it to receive a modified M42-to-EOS adapter).

I really like the small pancake lens...its color/contrast/sharpness are very good...CA is moderate wide-open.

This one came out much better than the 800/110a chimera.

Unfortunately the bellows has lots of pinhles at the corners.

I'll have to replace it by a good one.

After the oil filter, it heads tot he furnace

The meter before the y fixed it. It now has a brace which has replaced the log support

Quite expensive but the fit is really good.

For the lid, I'll just put the pillows over it before leaving the van when it's hot outside. It would be too ugly to have it insulated.

The Conversion is barely visible hidden in the cluster of people.

FINALLY moved it out from under the sink. It was such a pain to have to open the door everytime I needed water.

I seem to be developing a bad habbit of collecting BMW engines! This is another M20 but a 2.5 this time. The plan is to buikd a 2.8 conversion. We'll see how far I get!

This year, I've been converting some of my engines to Powered Up to make them more suitable for exhibition layout running.

The Q1 was previously 9V only, prohibiting it from running on plastic-track layouts. This conversion allowed it to enter the modern show circuit this year.

I've also fitted Bulleid Firth-Brown wheels from Breckland Bricks. This don't run quite as well as the old BBB wheels on tighter curves, but they're fine on larger radii, and look much more like the prototype.

Many of the images here I have found all over the internet!

If anyone find their own image here and disapprove of me showing it here, just send me a message and I will remove it/them images!

The Electrical Energy Conversion Laboratory is primarily used for demonstrations and lab exercises by the electrical engineering curriculum course EEN402 Electrical Energy Conversion for electrical engineering students.

The EEN402 Electrical Energy Conversion course is a required course in the electrical engineering curriculum where students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with power equipment including rotating electrical machinery (DC and three phase AC generators and motors) and power transformers (single phase and three phase). In the lab section of this course, the students learn to use detailed wiring diagrams to connect electric machines with power sources, loads, and meters to perform many different types of tests and experiments that demonstrate the operational and loading characteristics of electric machine systems. There is also a strong mathematical modeling and calculation aspect to this course as well. Students learn to conduct standard machine tests from which mathematical models for the machines can be determined empirically. Loading tests are then done on the machines, and the measured quantities from the loading tests are compared to quantities calculated mathematically by the students using machine models and circuit analysis techniques.

The equipment used in the Electrical Energy Conversion Laboratory is manufactured by Hampden Engineering. There are three Hampden Model HMD-100CM student power consoles. Each power console is equipped with a 120/208V Three Phase Power Source, a 0-140/242V Variable Three Phase Power Source, a 0-125V 5A DC Power Source, and a 0-150V 1A DC Power Source.

The following additional equipment is located at each console.
