In the star filled night sky reflected on Medano Creek in The Great Sand Dunes National Park, the Milky Way seems to rise from the distant glow of lights from the community of Alamosa, Colorado.
That’s the name of the Haddad Drugan sculpture on the ridge. I like it a lot.
‘As people move around or between the sculptures, the two forms will appear to combine into a whole and then separate, depending on the viewing angle. Each sculpture on its own may evoke the shape of a cornucopia - the horn of plenty - to some viewers. Viewed from another angle, the sculptures merge into a shape reminiscent of bison horns, or mythical creatures. This form was inspired by the changing shapes of flocks of birds ascending and descending; horns; the movement of herds; the curves of Chinook clouds; and animal nests and dens’
Macro Mondays theme Leading Lines
Crazy Tuesday theme Backlight
I found the Leading Lines theme really tough. I experimented over the week with various ideas but wasn't happy with any of the results. After my final attempt today I was about to admit defeat when I stumbled upon this tiny fungus growing in the garden and then the sun came out...HMM...HCT... 😄
Out exploring a new area for us. North of Cissbury ring, a walk with two lenses, the 24-105 and the 100-400, this was with the 100-400. What caught my eye here was the way all the lines of tracks in fields and hedgerows seemed to converge in one area, it was a little misty and a lazy wind but a flask of coffee in the car awaited our return.
It appears to be an unassuming photo until you look at the street light and realize there's some kind of alien science fiction thing going on. I'm in trouble here! Somethings wrong. We are being watched? I guess it's my take on alien abduction.

A new train flow, for me,at any rate, loaded PCA cement tanks rapidly rolling South.
Con (as in concrete, well cement), vergence.
Not as happy with this, as i was with my dai-vergence, i need to trace the fault back, from my initial "click" maybe the scene was just too busy, or i got the angles slightly incorrect, i am happy to show this warts and all image though, i feel it is progress for me.
There is another crop within this, and i checked it out, alas it hi-lights the warts, so this it is.
Doh, sussed it, it needed to be more head on, with the train on the bend,
An old outfall on my local beach at low tide with a long exposure , the wind was doing a nice job on the clouds for me .
