66 003 rounds one of the many curves on its decent to Buxton with 6L11 10.00 Dowlow to Bow East.

Size matters, thats for sure, the control tower at Edinburgh Airport has no issues there, however when it comes to the sweet things in life, there's nothing like a Tunnocks teacake..

Still the original size, we all hope so....dont look down, look up.

I can’t take my eyes off the green tulip leaves with the great light on it… Then I’ve asked myself: What’s the meaning of green? To me it’s nature & restful energy… Here is what I found from different sources: “Green, the color of life, renewal, nature, and energy, is associated with meanings of growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and environment. The color green has healing power and is understood to be the most restful and relaxing color for the human eye to view. Green can help enhance vision, stability and endurance. Green takes up more space in the spectrum visible to the human eye and it is the dominant color in the natural. The color green affects us physically and mentally in several different ways. Green is soothing, relaxing, and youthful. Green is a color that helps alleviate anxiety, depression, and nervousness. Green also brings with it a sense of hope, health, adventure, and renewal, as well as self-control, compassion, and harmony” Bourncreative “Since the beginning of time, green has signified growth, rebirth, and fertility. In pagan times, there was the "Green Man" - a symbol of fertility. In Muslim countries, it is a holy color and in Ireland, a lucky color. It was the color of the heavens in the Ming Dynasty.” Colormatters BeNowMeHere, Keukenhof, Lisse, Netherlands, 2015 via 500px ift.tt/21SqnYF

Interesting that the steering wheel on the Kaiwo Maru has no view of the water. Wonder if this is just a token display of what's on the bridge, but the brass and wood that make up the wheel are pretty impressive.

I'm bigger than my body

I'm colder than this home

I'm meaner than my demons

I'm bigger than these bones

And all the kids cried out, "Please stop, you're scaring me"

I can't help this awful energy

God damn right, you should be scared of me

Who is in control?

I'm well acquainted with villains that live in my head

They beg me to write them so they'll never die when I'm dead

And I've grown familiar with villains that live in my head

They beg me to write them so I'll never die when I'm dead

- somehow a "brother-in-spirit" of this one: though (oh well...) I am at least knee-deep into technology of all sorts and kinds, somehow I wonder how it actually works - man controlling machine? This device (an office-building-sized coal excavator) is just, well, sort of a "mountain of steel", making you feel awfully small, pondering what might happen if machines like these actually get out of hands...

Tatiana Weston-Webb doing powerful turns in full control at Rocky Point on the North Shore. This season she's been performing well on the World Championship Tour (best of the best) as an injury replacement, and is also close to qualify for the next season.

Stopped by the remote controlled airfield for short time for the first time in quite a while. A friend of mine was flying a few of the 31 planes he owns. Only got photos of 2 of them while there, the first two red ones and the last six photos here. Fun watching how skillful these pilots are doing aerial maneuvers, takeoffs and landings. I always send any photos I take for them to post on their club site. Sorry for so many photos, just saving to my album. :-)

Almost a year to the day I attempted to get inside Battersea Power station, an iconic London abandoned power station that overpowers the skyline south of the river Thames.
