The control tower at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, shot during a cloudy, wet and windy day.
The photo was shot from Schiphol's "Panorama Terrace". I used an M.Zuiko 40-150mm lens @132mm and E-PL1 camera.
The Final run 1587's control cab. This is what 44 (almost 45) years of service through Chicago's "everything you can think of" weather does to A Highliner. This is the last revenue run where these cars will ever be used. Farewell Highliners, it was a great ride.
Looking for a parking spot to walk the canal past Soho Depot, pretty well everywhere was full apart from a 100 yard bubble around this in a side street. I wonder why.....
The cab controls for a new AutoCat semi-automated side loader refuse truck made by Wayne Engineering. The AutoCat is great for small urban routes, picking up missed stops, and spread out rural routes.

(Words of warning......
If you're going to ride aboard Union Pacific's rear units, make sure you leave on the inside lights; like the two above me)!!! These are left on purposly, so the crews know if perhaps soneones back there and has turned off the lights at night.
(Also, Union Pacific is the only railroad that usually does this, too)!
