Far more badass than most "toy" controllers I've seen. It's very durable with metal "roll bars" protecting the antenna and yokes. I can imagine middle schoolers tussling over the controller without putting a scratch on it.
Funnily enough, my Canon's face recognition software kept getting triggered by those big yellow "eyes."

Left Analog Stick was seriously worn and loose to the point it wasn't controlling my games correctly and more often than not have a mind if its own, luckily the same analog stick is used in the ps2 controller for which I had a duff one with good sticks so cribbed one from there, now all works like a new pad.

Visitors to the Musée may remember the room-sized installation entitled Pulse Room, 2006, presented in the summer of 2014, with incandescent light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. In Pulse Spiral, the light bulbs are arranged in a spiral paraboloid according to one of Pierre de Fermat's (1607-1665) mathematical equations. The lights are activated by a sensor that captures the visitor's heartbeat. Each heartbeat is recorded and transformed into a flash of light at the tip of the paraboloid. The whole structure then lights up entirely, and starts flashing as one according to the latest beat, after which all preceding heartbeats begin flashing again as an uncoordinated constellation of individual rhythms. The magical and evanescent spiral of light elicits the fascination one may feel as one sees one's heartbeat, and the power to activate light on such a large scale. Light is both material and subject in many of Lozano-Hemmer's participative public art projects, and throughout the exhibition light and shadow are employed to activate the space.
This is a variation of a Controller Faceplate that I haven't seen before. It's an official MadCatz faceplate on the back but I've never seen a blister pack with this faceplate. If anyone has more information please reply with a comment.
A Solar Charge Controller is a device that use to control the amount of current PV modules feed into a battery bank. Is there one hand that created our world? We see the clouds, the trees and the rivers and it's hard to fathom how any of it came to be. Perhaps there is some invisible, incomprehensible power in control of it all, or perhaps it's as simple as the elements working together in the perfect way.
Another Paul Octavious inspired photo. I had a bag of polyester stuffing in my craft closet, so I broke little pieces off and pinned them to the wall. I placed a lamp on the floor and aimed it up at the wall, so that it would highlight the clouds, and just barely outline my face. I used a self timer.
