Grande Ronde + Joseph Creek/Canyon

45 min

Pilot's Recommendation ... Add this extension onto your Grande Ronde (below) or Imnaha (above) flight seeing tour and witness a whole new canyon experience. Joseph Creek is literally a meandering oasis that endlessly winds its way around mini buttes and plateaus and vertical ridges at the base of an otherwise baron canyon of layer upon layer of eroded basalt. When the light is just right, the canyon seems to continuously unfold and open up before your eyes. Chief Joseph (the Elder) of the Nez Perce was born at the northern end of this seemingly sacred canyon. This canyon is full of surprises and never disappoints — a pilot favorite.

This small booklet was the initial starter for the much longer, 14 page book revolving around the importance of food repurposing. The form was a trash can which when opened exposed the key information.

Continuous strand fiberglass made by PPG Industries creates a web across the plaza of PPG Place in Downtown Pittsburgh, part of a robotic installation called "Reach." The movement of pedestrians beneath the strands -- or the movement of hands toward the strands -- affects sounds being played in the plaza. "Reach" is part of the citywide Robot 250 Festival, July 11-27. Photo credit: Carnegie Mellon University download a high resolution image

Continuous blooming! This photo has highlighted to a dear one that colourful bracts are not flowers :)

I did a Continuous Contour Line Drawing with a green oil pastel stick. I spent about ten minutes on the drawing, not lift the stick at all. I would press harder or lighter in some areas. I also overlapped areas I drew over to give more darker values in some areas.

Rika and I heard a continuous bursting sound while we were checking out the buns in the kitchen. Curious, we looked out of the window but saw nothing! ER was watching TV in the living room and he suddenly got up from his chair and asked for the camera! Flares were seen over the other side of the hill near the Punggol River. Within minutes, it's over, leaving a thick cloud of smoke. We were still puzzled and wonder what had happened!

This is my current work in progress. It is a continuous line drawing in fine liner of 3 historical stamps. I am currently transferring this image onto a screen print which I'm going to print onto different backgrounds for different effects, including chine colle, a watercolour, and a mix media textile piece.

This plaque was made as a gift for my friend from a drawing I got off the Internet . It is stated that the artist never once lifted his pencil to make this drawing of many, many circular motions of Jesus.

by Nelson Ball. Cobourg, Proper Tales Press, 2o12. references Nichol.

In this I used a method of drawing the subject with one continuous line using a black fine liner
