In a galaxy small small away .... welcome to the Small Wars! A contest where the size matters and you have to be strong with the Force.
@dan.ko56 loves Star Wars and building small, so he created this wonderful contest about both. This is how this little event was born. You will have one month to build small things in one of the 3 categories, or in all of them:
Scene it! Category - build a micro Star Wars scene. Your build must fit in 10 x 10 studs and it can be max 20 studs high.
Ride it! Category - build a speeder bike (it can be a "real" Star Wars model or a made up one). The speeder bike must be maximum 10 studs long and 3 studs wide. You can have a slight overhang depending on the parts used.
Master it! Category - pick a side and build your Jedi or a Sith warrior as a minifigure.
As this was fun to put together, I hope that you will enjoy it as well!
We have prizes too - for Scene it! and Ride it! categories we have brick built trophies and for the Master it! category our sponsors from @firestartoys prepared for you two awesome custom minifigures.

This is the third entry in my 2016-17 Bodycon Dress Contest, in which (as ever) you have the chance to choose your favourite outfit - from among the six or seven I shall be modelling over the next few months! I don't usually include so many outfits in a single contest, but I just adore these tight rayon dresses from Alice & Elmer, and I have amassed quite a collection of them!! Perhaps this contest will never end!
For this shoot, my stockings are by Bear Brand, my heels are from Ultimate Shoes, and my hair is by Annabelle. Remember, there are no rules in my contests - so please express your preferences in any way that you like! The winning outfit will be back for its lap of honour, probably some time in the spring!!

It’s photo contest time! The Ancient Order of Centaurs is a new “bringing together” of centaurs in SL. To celebrate its launch Jinx is running a photo contest.
1st prize: 2000L$ Jinx store credit
2nd prize: 1000L$ Jinx store credit
3rd prize: 500L$ store credit
For entries to be considered, photos must contain a Jinx Centaur (Centeenytaurs and Cenpetitaurs included) and should present your interpretation of a centaur from one of the Houses of the AOC. And now, back to our regularly scheduled program! After my previous street photo upload, I'm happily back to long exposure monochromes! Only 3 days ago, I was writing about how, lately, I've had no patience for processing and, all of a sudden, I'm back in the game. Funny how these things work!
This week, I've suddenly rediscovered why I just adore b&w photography. There's just such an amazing emotion that is evoked when I look at a really good b&w photo. Yea, I dabble in the odd colour image or two when I'm feeling a little stale, but b&w is really where it's at for me.
This image is probably one of the darker ones I've done and it's inspired by one of the best b&w photographers around these parts - Andy Brown. He is the king of the dark moody monochrome. Do check out his work if you can.

So the results are finally in! I want to say each and every person who had entered the contest did an AMAZING job and I was happy to host this contest, I've seen sooooo much improvement! Anyways I had to boil it down to the top three and boy was it hard. Everyone who was in the contest has been tagged! So here they are!
1st. Nate-M8: His Rey and Bossk were really good and he had some really good improvements! the sculpting a d painting overall were awesome!
2nd. BlueInfrno: Same as Nate Blue had so much awesome improvement! His customs turned out really well!

Finally my contest has ended! I'm not going write a long description, just wanted to let you guys know that results will be out in a day or two. So expect them! Good luck to everyone!
Its taken a while, but now finally finished: 1st Place contest prize. Again, congratulations to Nate-M8 and Vieral .
I will send both of you an email with all the pieces and info to make one of these, as well as a couple of recommended resources to use.
For the remaining 3 finalists, an Anakin Skywalker tunic will be design and sent to you within the next week or so.
Neither Luke\'s or Anakin\'s printable design will be uploaded on flickr, but if these are well receipted, I shall make more in the future available to everyone.
Additional details: Just like my painted figs, the design is made using only two pieces: A connected front and back tunic + a wrap around belt piece. Both of which need to be stuck and/or are removable.
Note: Contest prizes, do not include minifig parts, just a printable design.
Also, quality of printed design depends on the type of printer and paper/card quality used. For this one, I have used a medium quality inkjet printer and hp premium (standard) paper.

Entry to the Small Starfighter Contest.
Well, it's been nearly six weeks since I last posted anything. I have my reasons though.
1) Homefront building, which is completed.
2) I now have a job.
3) Trying to finish Eagle Scout and another project before the end of next school year.
4) Swim team.
Takes up a lot of time, those four things. And it's summer. Gosh.
Hopefully next summer will be more restful.
Oh, and this will be coming to BF with me, along with another small starfighter that will hopefully be better designed. :P
I'll be there probably Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and just long enough on Sunday to pick up my stuff and finish up.

So, here's yet another question. XD
What I was wondering is this, what would you guys think of me starting a contest, and how many of you would consider entering?
I already have the basic idea of it planned out. The main premise would be this, you pick an OC, any OC, from anybody, and you either A. Draw it in your own style, making sure to capture the details and personality of the character, or B. Build that character in Lego form. This could be any character you want, as long as it's an OC someone (not you) has made.
Now, I suppose it may be a bit hard to build a character in minifig form when it was already in minifig form in the first place, so, if that's the case, perhaps you could attempt the redesign the character, much like the different 'verse's people have for DC characters.
Anyways, looking forward to seeing what you guys think of this idea!

This is a list of available options in which I will start a contest:
1. Expand the Multi Sharp universe (even though I own most of the characters), create a villain or hero who can be independent or part of a group but no more than 5 people. If the characters get my approval, then I'll put it in my stories. Characters have to be a little more realistic than usual, no boundaries on nationalities or etc.
2. Submit your version of mixing a villain with a hero, can be both from Marvel or DC, for example Bronze Tiger + Superman, Nova + Doctor Doom, or even Lex Luthor + Nightwing.
3. Cyberpunk/dystopia and fantasy combined, could be a set build or just plain figs. Can be with stories.
4. Mou lei tau, which is Cantonese for something nonsensical, ridiculous and makes completely no sense. It is often comical and involves slapstick humour. Write a story that could involve yourself or make up your own. For preparation, watch Stephen Chow's movies as a good source.
5. A sig-fig representing your future, e.g. where would you be and what's your job going to be like etc.

As the swimming race is about to start, the contestants take their places on the starter blocks. One swimmer looks over at his fellow swimmers and is surprised to see a person in a shark costume and another person in a penguin costume. Sharks and penguins may be good swimming animals, but does wearing a costume mean a better or faster swimmer? We will just have to see who wins the race!
