Alright, it's time for Ravenhurst photo contest #2!
From now until March 15th, join the Ravenhurst flickr group and post the pic that best represents what St. Patrick's Day means to you. Do you tap your inner child of Eire? Do you slog through keg after keg of ale? Do you find yourself the subject of chairs over the head? Whatever the fair St. Paddy's Day does for you, now's the time to show us (and win a prize for it - again)!
The rules are simple:
1. Photos can be edited or untouched, but all pics MUST be shot on the Ravenhurst sim.
2. Entries must be posted to the Ravenhurst flickr group by no later than 11:59 pm on March 15th. www.flickr.com/groups/1030077@N22/
3. You can post as many pics as you would like to the RH flickr group (and please do!), but only one can be entered into the contest. To mark your entry, please put "RH Contest #2 Entry" somewhere in the title of your pic so it can be identified.

All entries will be judged by the Ravenhurst GMs, and the prizes will be:
First prize: $L1500 and your picture displayed in the Salon de la Rose.
Second prize: $L1000 and your picture displayed in the Salon de la Rose.
Third prize: $L500 and your picture displayed in the Salon de la Rose.
We'll have the grand unveiling at the Salon de la Rose on St. Paddy's Day itself, March 17, so watch for announcements!

As some of you might know, Groove organized a photo contest again this year on the occasion of their Doll Carnival. The theme was "new beginning" or Nouvelle Ouverture.

Dog Costume Contest
I'm not suggesting this for your dog, or any dog - I'm just reporting on dogs and owners (see other photos in comments) that not only chase lures, but compete in costume contests (the dogs and the owners!!!!) - see the photos in the comments if you don't believe me - all revealed to me was new to me - I'd never seen this behavior in humans with dogs before - well maybe a few in a circus long ago.
My covenant entry to the Lego Halo Contest.
While the Banshee ruled the skies, the Covenant found themselves at a loss for anti-infantry air support. Enter the Gremlin, a light-single-seat gun platform designed using "borrowed" technology scavenged from Forerunner Sentinels.
This craft cannot reach the same altitudes as the Banshee, but it's ability to hover and dart quickly from point to point makes it an invaluable asset to Covenant ground forces and a nemesis of USNC infantry.

In a galaxy small small away .... welcome to the Small Wars! A contest where the size matters and you have to be strong with the Force.
@dan.ko56 loves Star Wars and building small, so he created this wonderful contest about both. This is how this little event was born. You will have one month to build small things in one of the 3 categories, or in all of them:
Scene it! Category - build a micro Star Wars scene. Your build must fit in 10 x 10 studs and it can be max 20 studs high.
Ride it! Category - build a speeder bike (it can be a "real" Star Wars model or a made up one). The speeder bike must be maximum 10 studs long and 3 studs wide. You can have a slight overhang depending on the parts used.
Master it! Category - pick a side and build your Jedi or a Sith warrior as a minifigure.
As this was fun to put together, I hope that you will enjoy it as well!
We have prizes too - for Scene it! and Ride it! categories we have brick built trophies and for the Master it! category our sponsors from @firestartoys prepared for you two awesome custom minifigures.

This is the third entry in my 2016-17 Bodycon Dress Contest, in which (as ever) you have the chance to choose your favourite outfit - from among the six or seven I shall be modelling over the next few months! I don't usually include so many outfits in a single contest, but I just adore these tight rayon dresses from Alice & Elmer, and I have amassed quite a collection of them!! Perhaps this contest will never end!
For this shoot, my stockings are by Bear Brand, my heels are from Ultimate Shoes, and my hair is by Annabelle. Remember, there are no rules in my contests - so please express your preferences in any way that you like! The winning outfit will be back for its lap of honour, probably some time in the spring!!
