I was on my way back home (on an airport bus travelling at some 80km/hr) and was stunned by this view of the container terminal. Glad I've got a marvelous little photo-taking-machine by my side...

Crazy Tuesday: Identical objects

Berkshire & Eastern train B100 is seen hugging the banks of the Hoosic River in North Pownal Vermont amid several bands of passing storms. With the end of the intermodal traffic on the B&M west end looming i figured i would make the trek out and cross them off the list one last time

I passed these three shipping containers outside and old building in Tollcross, near the fire station, and assumed they were being used while nearby buildings were being worked on. I did wonder why they'd gone to the trouble of painting them in bright colours though, but assumed maybe just to be more visually pleasant while the work was carried out. Discovered via an article on local news site today that actually they are going to house some temporary pop-up street food stalls, and the hatches on the front are for serving the food. Will need to check them out once up and running!
