This part of the Next Wave programme had me rushing to Melbourne asap to catch it before it closed. Inside a waterside warehouse, shipping containers outfitted by artists from all over the Commonwealth on the theme of "Empire Games." Like the Olympic and Commonwealth Games "villages" that are purpose-built to house athletes, this village came together to from "mini-arts embassies."

A few more photos of my container gardening experiments. The fourth shot is eucalyptus. Love this stuff! In fall I'll cut all the stems off and bring it inside to dry out. Eucalyptus smells wonderful...
