I wanted a more creative shot than a passing ship, so I lined up this composition.
The departure of ships from the Schelde River is governed by tidal patterns and the availability of deepwater channels. Due to the tides, vessels departing from the river must carefully plan their departure time to ensure sufficient water depth for safe navigation. Pilots, experienced navigators with knowledge of the local waters, often assist ships in their departure, guiding them through the river and the estuary to ensure a smooth and secure transition into the open sea.
For Macro Mondays theme of containers, a small case from a Tickle Me Elmo Barbie Doll. Size of photo is 2.25 inches square.

Notice that, though she's fully loaded with containers, she's riding as if she's empty... I'm guessing she's carrying empties back to get refilled.
I think container ships are beautiful anyway, but all the different colored containers on this one was very striking to both myself and my lady (aka the Hunchback of the Jeremiah O'Brien).

In deze tijd met "hoog licht" kun je beter vroeg in de morgen of later in de middag/avond foto's maken. Toen op zondag 2 juni 2019 laat in de middag de sluierbewolking inmiddels was verdwenen werd daarom nog even naar Tricht gereden. Niet lang na aankomst passeerde hier de vol beladen Chengdu-shuttle uit Tilburg industrie richting Bentheim en het verre oosten in inmiddels heerlijk licht. Gelukkig werd de trekkracht geleverd door de bestickerde 193261 van LTE die hier met (op een na) volledig met CDIRS reefers en containers beladen trein de fotograaf passeerde.
