The Construction Worker Minifigure from the LEGO Movie. His
hair is medium brown with ripples molded into it. The movie follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. The LEGO Movie is the first-ever, full-length Lego adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. This is a balloon at the Big Y supermarket in Bethel,CT.

The demolition for the 6th Street Bridge took place Superbowl weekend without incident. The first stage of the nine-month long demolition was to dismantle the 200 foot long section spanning over the 101 FWY. Crews worked around the clock beginning late on Friday evening, and reopening the 101 on Sunday morning.
Some random construction worker that was building one of the new casino's in Vegas. He was nice enough to let me and a friend photograph him.

Once the girder is placed upon support walls, workers secure it into place.
The busiest construction weekend yet saw crews tackle installation of girders and concrete deck panels at four overpasses along the State Route 520 corridor from Feb. 24-27, 2012. All lanes of the highway were closed so crews could move more than 4 million pounds of massive concrete girders for new lidded overpasses above the highway at Bellevue Way Northeast and 84th Avenue Northeast. Concrete deck panels were installed at Evergreen Point Road and 92nd Avenue Northeast during a chilly weekend that saw heavy rain, hailstorms and plummeting temperatures.
Hmm, new zoom means greater distance between camera operator and subject. NOTE TO SELF: Construct cardboard sign that reads I AM TAKING YOUR PHOTO FOR MY BLOG CALLED GOKUROUSAMA. SMILE!
This woman worker is sifting to get fine sand for preparation of mortar for construction.Around her there was coarse sand and small stones.She was seated with the sun to her back to avoid glare while doing her job.
It appeared to me that unmindful of being old and thin, she was working hard to earn her bread with a strong will-power. And to my surprise, she asked me to a take a photo of her when I finished taking some shots in the construction- site.But I think she was too tired to smile.However I felt happy taking this picture and thanked her.

One last major project for the year involved adding new maintenance free fascia and soffits to the house. Having some handsome young construction workers doing the job was a side bonus!
Both these guys are construction workers who make less than 150 rupees (less than 4 dollars) by working one full day and they are still happy …
