One last major project for the year involved adding new maintenance free fascia and soffits to the house. Having some handsome young construction workers doing the job was a side bonus!
Sorry for the mass uploads, but this is my way to get the photos to my phone to do other things with them.
I posted this earlier today without thinking much about it, but I have now spotted that it was taken this time last year. It could have been taken this year as construction workers have worked throughout lockdown. The office worker wasn't there last year, appearing only as an advert, and is probably working safely from home this year (as I am). The other thing that strikes me now is how invisible the black construction worker appears against the black background, and compared to his Hi-Viz gear.

Here are a couple photos from a construction themed shoot I planned. I had really wanted to try this type of rim lighting and when I found two male friend/models I pounced on the opportunity to dress them up as construction workers!!! The best part of the shoot was watching them making a fool of themselves spread Canola Oil on themselves for the *shine*.
Strobist Info:
Two portable speedlights (Nikon SB25, Canon 580EXII) each positioned to the left and right, behind the model. Each speedlight is gobo'ed to protect the camera from lens flare. Key light is created with giant reflector in front of the models.
