More from last weekends construction work. I don’t know if I like the outfade in this picture or not but I keep it

As mentioned previously, construction workers do not carry these baskets on their shoulders. Instead, the yellow strap is used to wrap around their heads as the main way to carry heavy loads. Obviously, this will lead to long term spinal problems as testified from the many interviews that Mike conducted with female construction workers.

The ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) under construction - west side of the crystal. This really is the angle of the building. There are few ladders for construction workers, but mostly they get around by crane, scissor lift and lots of ropes and harnesses.

Taken around 1914, This photograph depicts construction workers working for the Cleveland and Youngstown Railroad Company. This image is from the Cleveland and Youngstown Railroad Collection available on the web in the Cleveland Memory Project at Cleveland State University Library.

Len think he's pillaging the mines of Middle Earth... I didn't have the heart to tell him that's fool's gold.

Members of Bronx Brigade, a campaign fighting to increase the number of good, middle-class construction jobs for residents in the Bronx marched to State Senator Luis Sepúlveda’s district office on October 2, 2019 and protested his failure to support state legislation that would raise wages for thousands of union and nonunion construction workers – including many who are immigrants, people of color, and women.
