It was fun to catch these construction workers after their shift just got over in the evening. They were probably sharing some joke or funny picture...

Taking during a repaving job in the Dillonvale suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.

During the heat of this past Summer, they repaved several streets in the neighborhood. This machine is removing the old asphalt and putting it into dump trucks. I assume that what is removed is then recycled. I've tried before, but have always found capturing these scenes is always difficult as the milling machine and the dump truck are so long when together and working. Perhaps I should try a pano. I was amazed at how quickly the dump trucks were filled up which is why there was always a line of trucks waiting their turn.

Currently and through 2022, they are working on a much bigger job on an adjoining street where they have cut down all the trees along the roadside and are busy working on the water main and other utilities. Hopefully, I'll get some chances to capture what they are doing.

Emar Khan, how he spelled his name for me in English is a day labour worker at a construction site near my house in Chittagong. Working for a staggering 9 hours in this harsh weather, he earns a day living of 250 taka(just over 3 USD). It had just rained, and he lit a smoke from his fellow colleague at the site.

I stayed there for a while, took a few photographs, and went back home.

Swedish word of the day. Byggnadsarbetare. Construction worker. Some photoshop on this photo and I'm curious to see if you can figure out what I have done and perhaps even why.

Tx, houston. touch up. I've learned a lot since I first posted this picture I took months ago. I've also learned that are some ugly people here on Flickr. I don't remember the dude name but he must get off taking pictures of kids. I guess he thinks his pictures are prefect. anyway. time to move on.

For the last seven years, there was not a single day I passed without listening to the sound of hammer blows, brick crushing, steel bar cutting. And I don't think it is going to end soon.

Construction work never ends really. People keeps building and building. Neverending demand, neverending supply.
