This guy looks like a construction worker from the country side that went to the city to work. He was walking in the middle of traffic looking like nothing mattered :-) Is taken in Nanjing, China.

they were pouring a large raft footing for the tower going up at Alberni and Cardero Streets, I was fascinated by the scale of the machinery vs humans, and their interaction.
Gail is gratful for the noise of the jackhammer. It drowns out Emmet's constant chatter as well as the supervisor 's comment of "Keep up the good work" every ten minutes.

Taking during a repaving job in the Dillonvale suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
During the heat of this past Summer, they repaved several streets in the neighborhood. This machine is removing the old asphalt and putting it into dump trucks. I assume that what is removed is then recycled. I've tried before, but have always found capturing these scenes is always difficult as the milling machine and the dump truck are so long when together and working. Perhaps I should try a pano. I was amazed at how quickly the dump trucks were filled up which is why there was always a line of trucks waiting their turn.
Currently and through 2022, they are working on a much bigger job on an adjoining street where they have cut down all the trees along the roadside and are busy working on the water main and other utilities. Hopefully, I'll get some chances to capture what they are doing.
