Northern Line Extention (NLE) Battersea underground station site.

When we were in Singapore, one could see that there was a lot of construction work ongoing in Singapore. You turn the corner and there would be a cordoned off section where there would be some sort of construction work ongoing, and a crane hanging over the entire area. This is construction work happening just next to the Suntec City with a cordoned off plot and with a crane overseeing the area.

These photos show the work being done repairing a water main along Grandview Avenue in Normal, Illinois.

I learned that the garden is being transformed in a major way for a special event taking place next month. A dance floor is being built over the pool! (Or maybe the guard was pulling my leg, but it does look like they are building a floor over the pool.)
