This heavy road roller was spotted on the road construction site mentioned in the Bedford TM pictures.
Chuga chuga chugachuga chug!.. the milling machine crushes rocks, concrete and asphalt. The operator stands there listening to the rhythm of the this behemoth. But wait! There’s more!... an incoming text.
This is going to be an interesting drive..The sight that meets your eyes when you pull the drivers door on one of the Bedford TM's featured in these few pictures. No idea of the location of the site, probably a by-pass or motorway extension during the 1990's in the south.

This construction site is on the south side of Lake George. I don’t know what is being built so walking through it is the reverse of roaming through ruins and a pleasure that’s just as intense. It’s a present tense experience of abstract form in the state of becoming… electrical conduit snakes along a labyrinth-like route bordered by orange vinyl fence on one side and a cyclone fence on the other….the fences meander around 50-foot mounds of dirt,…at the site’s south end is an excavation with molds ready for concrete. As you move through this site, the failure of form to reveal its direction and purpose keeps you in the state of now, a state of wonder.

The scaffolding is used for shoring, i.e. to support the formwork on which fresh concrete will be poured.

Went hunting for the yellow helmets of the construction workers. Not spotting any, though, these temporary yellow workers' huts and the yellow crane will have to do.

The new building works at the old Clinic. Though I'd do a collage rather than putting up individual photo. Rather boring otherwise I thought.

It seeems there's more realignment of the paving happening on the approach into London Bridge Station. Meanwhile, across the road, scaffolding is being erected underneath the massive safety canopy under 'The Place' which is nearing completion - looks like that's going to be dismantled soon.
