The parking lot at the defunct Oak Lawn K Mart and Chuckie Cheese is being torn up for a new, yet unamed restaurant.
This construction site is on the south side of Lake George. I don’t know what is being built so walking through it is the reverse of roaming through ruins and a pleasure that’s just as intense. It’s a present tense experience of abstract form in the state of becoming… electrical conduit snakes along a labyrinth-like route bordered by orange vinyl fence on one side and a cyclone fence on the other….the fences meander around 50-foot mounds of dirt,…at the site’s south end is an excavation with molds ready for concrete. As you move through this site, the failure of form to reveal its direction and purpose keeps you in the state of now, a state of wonder.

The west end of the building had quite a bit of real estate cut off. Same goes for the front of the building which had possibly 40 feet shaved off the entire length of the building..

Contractors continue construction in front of the new pistol range facility for the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Academy March 23 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District is managing construction and the project is being financed by the Georgia Border Security and Law Enforcement Program. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District is overseeing the construction of more than 200 homes at the Urlas Training Area in Ansbach, Germany - a little over 20 of which are Passivhäuser, or “Passive Houses.” Although the remaining homes will not meet Passivhäus standards, they will adhere to German EnEV energy-saving standards, which are still more energy efficient than American standards. Construction sites near Moor Street Queensway (mainly near Park Street).
That construction site on Masshouse Lane / Albert Street. Digging has started.
The former entrance into Railway Road is now marked by a wire mesh fence. The construction site for the new housing development, named Greenacre’s, will transform what was formerly known as “The Fiveway’s Estate”. In the background, is some of the new housing that has been constructed on Canterbury Road.
