Construction on the nature-themed playground and BMX pump track continue on March 1, 2023. The playground and welcome center are scheduled to officially open on June 1, 2023.
This is the latest pictures of the construction toys I am making. The lighting is better in these pictures, which makes the wood show up a lot better. This is it for now, unless the magazines publishes more. If any one is interested, the plans for all of these are in Wood Magazine. This is one of the new ones I just completed.

Standing on the corner of Water Street and 2nd Street SE in downtown Charlottesville, VA where construction is going on for a new hotel.
Dressed for the Fall City Days parade. I was one of the Village People. We danced our way down main street and then grouped up in front of the judges for our final dance. Sammamish Valley Animal Hospital took 1st place overall for the fourth year in a row.
Construction on the future Cortex MetroLink Station is moving forward. When complete, the light rail station will serve the Cortex Innovation Community and nearby neighborhoods and businesses.

Construction continues on Kings Island's new Soak City water park. The $10 million expansion replaces Boomerang Bay and is expected to open Memorial Day weekend. Photos provided/Kings Island
I made a wort chiller this evening. Hook one end up to cold water, the other to a drain hose in the sink, and this puppy can cool 5 gallons of pre-fermented beer from boiling to 70°F in about 15 minutes. Very nice.
Then two veneers are added at the sides, and the whole thing is glued and the wooden wedge tapped in until tight.
Cincinnati Streetcar construction is now taking place on Race Street, directly in front of 3CDC's current headquarters.
After a month-long hiatus, construction has resumed on Route 148 through Shawville. Yesterday they laid down the concrete curbs.
