Construction continues on the North Parking Garage on the site of the Louisville VA Medical Center May 3, 2023.
The construction of the Morton Building on South Front Street in Belleville, Ontario. The building, built by Myles Morton, housed the local radio and TV stations as well as several professional offices.
One of a series of photographic slides taken by the Keller family of Belleville between 1964 and 1994.
This construction staging area was set up on the north side of the Canoe Bridge site. From here, materials could be moved across to Pass Island and beyond, by using the cables spanning the pass.
Construction equipment can be seen high on the elevated structure over Wentworth near where the Green Line's Ashland Branch passes over the Red Line in the Dan Ryan Expressway (out of view, to right).
Red Line trains will operate over the current Green Line tracks from south of Roosevelt through Ashland/63rd, 24/7, during the Red Line South Reconstruction Project.

From the photographer's notes - "On Sunday the 10th [2014] I went over to see how the progress was on the Last bridge being placed on Huntington Dr. The installed the last steel girder at 3 AM Saturday morning. But they were still doing finishing work on Sunday. Quite an operation and now all
the bridges on the project are complete.
The tour of the Main Shops & Yards is over and then on Thursday our usual group did a complete tour of the line from Arcadia to Glendora. Work seems to be decelerating all along the line. The bridge over Santa Anita is 100% finished. Looks great. The station at Arcadia is really moving fast. Canopy's up and roofing material being placed.
On Shamrock Ave. the ground is being prepared and foundations for the overhead support poles have been poured. This is where the Pull in and Pull out tracks will come out of the Yards and then connect to the Main line with a "Y" at the connection."
