The Marina, Dubai. UAE. None of this existed 2 years ago.
They are building a city from scratch down here. It's a crazy sight...
Generally I found the quality of the architecture in Dubai to be very poor, the attitude seems to be to get the buildings up as quickly as possible, and with as many bells and whistles as possible; "Look at me! Look at me!" they all seem to scream...
In fairness, the standards of construction seem high, but the quality of design is lacking; which is a common failing when speed is the main concern of developers.

A construction crew picking up road work signs after the work was done for the day.
In this picture, the truck just turned around and the sign hit the trash cans, falling off.
A decorative front on a Givenchy store while construction goes on behind it.
Note that while the garbage can is on the sidewalk, the safety cone is actually part of the posted image.
Hefei has been under great constructions for a decade. A Big Building Site, someone describe this city like that. But as a citizen of this city, I hope the constructions could be finished ,the sooner the better. Too much noises, too much pollutions, too much traffic jams...

I may have a new-to-me Hasselblad 500cm, but I also have a couple of Kiev 88cms that have lenses I’ll never get for the Hasselblad (*cough* 30mm fisheye *cough*). I went out yesterday to test my four film backs for light leaks.
The two I developed yesterday both have small leaks. :-(
Ilford HP5+, expired 2011, Rodinal 1:50 for ten minutes in an AGO film processor. Shot for the Shitty Camera Challenge on Mastodon and Bluesky.
I needed a shot for the last DPS assignment - with the theme being "Construction". I've taken several pictures of construction sites the past week, but weren't satisfied with any of them. So I scrabbled together (yes, pun intended) this shot before running for the bus this morning. I shouldn't have hurried - I missed the bus anyway, and might just as well have spent some extra time composing this better. Oh, well...
