Sandusky Mall, like many other malls has lost many of its anchor stores in recent years; Sears, Macy's, and Elder-Beerman closed their stores at the mall.
Recently ownership of the mall has started a project to redevelop the Sears wing and rear of the mall. Sears is now largely occupied by Hobby Lobby. The former Macy's, Elder-Beerman, and part of the enclosed mall area near where sears was is getting renovated / redeveloped into new retail space featuring places such as Five Below and a relocated TJMaxx. The empty land and parking lot behind the mall is planned to be turned into a housing development.

The Marina, Dubai. UAE. None of this existed 2 years ago.
They are building a city from scratch down here. It's a crazy sight...
Generally I found the quality of the architecture in Dubai to be very poor, the attitude seems to be to get the buildings up as quickly as possible, and with as many bells and whistles as possible; "Look at me! Look at me!" they all seem to scream...
In fairness, the standards of construction seem high, but the quality of design is lacking; which is a common failing when speed is the main concern of developers.

Autumn in Dublin during Level 3 lockdown. The city centre was quiet and was about to get quieter. Construction on some projects seemingly ground to a halt. This used to be a great cured meats and cheese delicatessen.

The railway supplies the composition’s strongest perspective. Tracks leaving London Bridge Station gather beneath The Shard, then stream south through Bermondsey and beyond, their parallel lines converting a complex district into a forceful visual corridor. At left, the Thames bends away on a slower trajectory; on the horizon, Canary Wharf answers with a tight cluster of verticals. River, railway, and skyline become three different measures of metropolitan distance.
A 28mm lens and steep aerial viewpoint make the infrastructure unusually legible. Platforms, junctions, viaducts, roofs, and construction sites can be read almost simultaneously, although the oblique angle preserves enough depth to keep the view from becoming a map. Cool winter daylight reduces color and allows the rails to flash lightly against the heavier brick fabric.
The image interprets South London through movement rather than monuments. The station below is not isolated as an architectural object; its tracks are shown penetrating neighborhoods shaped by more than a century of railway expansion. Canary Wharf’s distant towers extend that reading eastward, linking Victorian transport infrastructure to the later financial city. The photographer’s position turns an ordinary departure route into London’s organizing spine.
Constructed from uncut wooden sticks from Outshine frozen fruit bars and connected with Titebond III wood glue. Octagonal shapes/geometry drawn with CAD program and printed to use as pattern for precise placement of sticks. Size is 20" x 20" x 8". Painting/color (is any) to be determined.
